Igor Schnyder, Attorney at Law

After graduating from law school, Igor Schnyder was admitted to the Bar and opened his own law firm in 2005. In 2008, he began to focus on medical devices and therapeutic products, advising clients on acquisitions, wholesale contracts for the manufacture and distribution of medical devices and pharmaceuticals, as well as on corporate compliance matters. He prepared the documentation relating to the training and recognition of out-patient medical institutions (licences to practise). As a result, he has in-depth knowledge of licensing requirements for health care personnel and institutions, and of therapeutic product regulations - both as a legal representative in regulatory proceedings and, directly as an applicant. Moreover, Igor Schnyder supports manufacturers of medical devices and pharmaceuticals in outsourcing their business processes in the context of clinical trials.

After establishing his law firm, Igor Schnyder initially worked mainly in the IT and telecommunications sector, handled several market access and pricing procedures, and ran the Legal and Regulatory Department of Tele2 Schweiz. He was later appointed to the Executive Committee and to the Board of Directors of Tele2 Schweiz. Following the sale of the branch of Tele2 Schweiz, in which he participated and played a decisive role, Igor Schnyder decided to dedicate himself exclusively to his law firm and to combine his expertise in IT and digital technologies with his specialist knowledge in the pharmaceutical and therapeutic products sector.

Since 2008, Igor Schnyder has also represented major international corporations in the pharmaceuticals and therapeutic products industry. He serves on the boards of several companies active in the provision of medical services and in the foodstuffs industry.
